The romantic self-contained cottage is brick built and is set apart, overlooking a graceful grass bed and the swimming pool. Originally the little house had been a bakers’ oven but now it has been converted into a charming private retreat for a romantic couple or someone wishing to enjoy a retreat.
Writers, painters and artists have all loved the cottage for it’s inspiring and beautiful setting. Quaint and full for character, the bakers cottage is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or Tuscan retreat.
There is a compact fully equiped kitchen with 4 burner hob, microwave, air fryer and fridge next two a cosy dining area for 2-3 people.

The cosy bedroom has a super king bed with a private entrance to the patio and overlooks the garden and trees through the solid wood arch doorways.

Quaint Bathroom in Marble
The bathroom has a beautiful Salome marble lined shower and a large hand carved Travertino marble basin. The petite bathroom is exquiaitely apointed and perfect for the cottage.

The Living Room & Day Bed
The final touch is an upstairs escape to read and relax with a day bed and lovely views through the traditional lattice brick work. The cosy sitting room has a semi-circular window and a wooden day bed.
Close to Towns, Tuscan Wine Country and Cities
The charming villages (Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, Greve in Chianti, Barberino and Val d’Elsa) of the Chianti region renowned worldwide for excellent wine are within easy reach and the property is perfectly situated for day trips to historic Florence (30 km away), but also to other beautiful Tuscan cities such as Lucca, Siena, Montepulciano, Pisa and Arezzo.
Nearest Airports
We are very fortuante to be just 10 minutes off the FI-PI-LI autostrada. This is the main autostrada running between the three cities Florence, Pisa and Livorno. So you can fly into Pisa or Florence airport.
Pisa is about 30-35 minute drive while florence is about 40-45 mins.
